In this article we’re featuring a couple of the venues included in the Phoenix/Tucson Pogo Pass. This is a great way to try different activities in the area for an amazing low price! They offer indoor and outdoor activities (like bowling or paintball or the IDEA Museum), and the Phoenix Zoo, zipline adventures, sport games, a water park, and SO MUCH MORE! This is definitely the perfect gift that will give families fun all year long. Some venues even have the option to visit once a week, or month. Click here to learn more, and be sure to use the code AZPLACES to get 60% off.
Note: each person needs their own Pogo Pass. Also, check the venue websites for possible age restrictions, or additional costs, such as shoe rental. Overall, if you’re interested in doing 2-3 activities from this list (and you have a a year!), the Pogo Pass will definitely save you money!
Urban Jungle Park
Need a place for the kids to burn off their energy? Urban Jungle Park in Mesa is amazing – and our kids did NOT want to leave! Toddlers, kids, teens and adults can have fun on the trampolines, bouncy houses, slides, rock walls, tunnels and more in this epic indoor play place. There’s also a 5yr and younger only play area, and a snack bar. Plus a parent’s lounge area with free WiFi! Our kids favorites were the spider climbing tower and the slides; our 6 year old was so excited to try rock climbing for the first time as well! The employees were so friendly and helpful. Included in the Pogo Pass is a 60 minute play session; otherwise, you can pay for 60-120 minute play sessions, ranging from $10-$18/person.
Included in a purchase to a Pogo Pass are five awesome activities in Tucson, only a two hour drive south of Phoenix! This would make for a great family getaway over school break, or any time a little adventure is needed. Arizona Zipline Adventures offers two ziplines over the desert, with an optional $25 upgrade to experience all five lines. Golf N Stuff had a variety of activities in their indoor facility such as laser tag, bumper boats, go karts, batting cages and more. With Golden Pin Lanes, you can practice your bowling skills, with one game per week! At the International Wildlife Museum you can learn about 400 different varieties of birds, insects and mammals, with some collections over 100 years old. And don’t miss two exciting hockey games of the Tucson Roadrunners. Total price for one adult to *all five* of these attractions would be over $140, but you pay $50 for all these and more with a Pogo Pass.
For an all-in-one entertainment experience, visit Fat Cats in Gilbert! They offer bowling, a huge arcade, mini golf, and a dine-in movie theatre. We met up with some friends today and enjoyed a round in the glow-in-the-dark golf course. The kids thought the pirate theme was cool. We also did a game of bowling (bumpers can automatically pop up for kids ages 11 and under), had some snacks, and tried our hand at arcade games. (The arcade runs on preloaded cards, and also keeps track of your tickets for prizes.) The atmosphere got a little loud and crazy for our group in the late afternoon, but we’d definitely recommend this place to others. Fat Cats is included in a Pogo Pass with one game of glow golf per week AND one game of bowling per month (shoes not included)! Or you can pay anywhere from $3.50-$5/person depending on the activity chosen.
Ice Den AZ
For our last feature of Pogo Pass venues, is the opportunity to ice skate! Ice Den offers two locations (Scottsdale and Chandler) for all ages to enjoy the ice. Our daughter ice skated for the first time a year ago and fell in love! It’s pretty awesome that there’s a place here in Phoenix that she can lace up her skates and practice. There’s also a cafe to enjoy snacks and drinks. With the Pogo Pass you get one skating session per month (skate rental not included)! Sessions usually last two hours. You can also pay $5-9 to join their public skating session.
